For the little ones
The Chalet at Winghaven is outfitted for every age and stage: babies, toddlers and kids. You can rest assured that there is something for the whole family here! See Clanventure’s gear guarantee -- our list of what we deem necessary in each home. From a pack ‘n play to a highchair to nightlights, we’ve got the details covered.
There’s plenty of fun to be had by kiddos of all ages! When they’re not exploring by the stream or in the nearby forest, take them to visit the nearby Blue House Farm. There, they’ll have the opportunity to see baby chicks, ducklings and goslings in spring and summer and goat kids (usually born between February and April). They'll show you how to handmilk a goat, kids can help collect eggs and learn about the many different chicken breeds that they raise.
Feeling hungry after a day of adventure and no time to cook? Grab a few slices of great pizza from the local pizza place before heading up the hill to the house.
During down time, the kids will enjoy playing with toys, puzzles and games—they’re all provided in the home for your convenience. Parents can join in on the game fun as well! Afterwards, snuggle up by the fireplace with the family and some hot cocoa.
