Mondays in October 2016 @ 10:00 am – 12:30 pm: Iowa Hill Trailhead. Enjoy an easy guided hike through the historic Iowa Hill mine site, passing mining artifacts and interpretive signs on the way to exclusive access inside a restored miners’ boarding house. $15/adult, $10/child; weather permitting.
October 15, 2016, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm: Riverwalk Center. Breckenridge Grand Vacations brings Family Fun Fest to the Riverwalk Center for a day of pumpkin carving, music, face painting, and sweet treats such as caramel apples. It’s a great activity for families this fall, and it’s the perfect way to gear up for Halloween in a cozy indoor setting.
October 21 - 23, 2016: Grand Tasting of handcrafted spirits on Saturday, October 22nd at 4:00 pm, Riverwalk Center. Admission provides complimentary tasting glass, delicious craft spirits tasting, craft cocktails, people's choice voting, artisanal snacks and live music! This may be a good mommy/daddy day!
October 22 - October 23, 2016: Free Face Painting at Quandary Antiques Cabin. Artists Leah Reddell and Alison Kenyon bring their extreme face painting experience to Breckenridge for a weekend of festive face paintings of skulls, masks and flowers.
November 27 - December 4, 2016: In its 29th year, the Hartford Ski Spectacular returns to Breckenridge on November 27th as the nation’s largest winter sports festival for people with physical disabilities.
